Welcome to A College Girl's Wardrobe! I'm Ellie, a college girl, and I love looking good on a college student budget. I've learned a lot about saving money and still getting great clothes, shoes, makeup, and accessories during my time in school. Since I'm spending my money paying to live in a shoebox that I share with another human being, I've had to get creative just to afford my usual lifestyle (Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and Chipotle are all things that have become luxuries since I started at University) and therefore have acquired quite the arsenal of shopping hacks.
A little bit about your college girl? I'm Ellie, a freshman at a mid-sized, private university in Ohio. Double majoring in Social Work and Spanish, as well as working with volunteer groups and working a PR job I've got to look good. With a busy schedule my style is preppy but easy, I don't have time to spend hours doing makeup and getting ready. I love flannel shirts, striped sweaters, warm boots, and Alex and Ani bracelets. I'm a Sephora addict but have picked up some great tips to make dupes look just as good as the high-end brands; however, I do stay faithful to O.P.I. and Essie nail polish (some things you just can't replicate.) Ultimately I want to develop from a semi-independant college student into a fully-functioning adult (all while looking good and saving money.)
Thanks for reading, remember to comment your tips and tricks!
